Report cards are based on standards that students must meet by the end of the year. Grades are based on levels of proficiency of a skill/concept:

Advanced means a student understands the concept and can teach another person with ease.

Proficient means a student understands the concept without the help of a teacher.

Basic means a student understands the concept with a little help from the teacher.

Below Basic means a student understands the concept in general with help from the teacher

Failing means a student did not try or did not take any help from the teacher to achieve adequate level of understanding.

On daily work, students and parents will see ADV, PRF, BSC. BBSC, F

On report cards, the grade will be looked at wholistically for the quarter in terms of A, B, C, D, or F.

Practice addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts 0-18 with your child through flashcards, website games, and homework.
